DAY AT THE BEACH

We had a great day at the beach today. It was nice to get away from the books for a short while. And we came home and had a nice nap to refresh me for another long night of studying. Someone made a really cool fort out of drift wood on the beach nearby and we went exploring it today. You have to walk over the tons and tons of drift wood over the river to get to it. And of course Aaron was the one to fall in and Bethany was the one to get her foot stuck. There was someone in the fort not too long before we were beacuse inside there was a fire still smoldering. Aaron was fiddling with the fire sending smoke up into the sky thru the opening in the roof and just then the Coast Gaurd flu over head. We thought they were going to stop and investigate us, but they just moved on. It is illegal to have a fire on that part of the beach. I am very thankful to live here, It is such a beautiful area.
Aaron absolutely hates getting his picture taken so when he sees this he wont be too happy with me, but oh well.
Our other two childredn up at the top right are Sissy and Angel. A picture like this one only lasts for about five minutes before one starts hissing at the other and all hell breaks out. So shots like this one are precious and few and far between.

TIFFANY'S OWIE

Tiffany had quite a weekend, Myrtle Point played Cascade Christian in Salem Friday night and then Reedsport Saturday, at Myrtle point. I bet she will be sleeping all day today. They won both of their games and Tiffany played great. She is a sophmore this year and because of her hard work and determination, she gets alot of playing time and it has paid off. She is showing lots of confidence and starting to take chances she never would have last year. I absolutetly love watching her play, her smile is beaming when she is out on the court. I am very proud of her. She did have a little incident with her finger however, above is a picture of her coach rendering first aid courtside.

When Reedsport and Myrtle Point play each other we just love it! Tiffany has many friends in Reedpsport and she enjoys being able to see them when their teams meet. Becka is one of her very best friends and she is a very good little player on the Reedsport team. Sometimes I confuse the crowd and make them mad because I am cheering for both girls! We have to sit kinda in a neutral spot so it is not so obvious!

Tiffany # 12 and Becka #14! Go girls!

By the way, the good looking man holding his proud kill is my wonderful husband. Ralph is an advid bow hunter. He is especialy excited because he just purchased a year round pass to shoot the 3D range at Mountain View Farm in Lakeside Oregon. Any bow hunters in the area should go check it out, well worth the cost, and Ralph's skills have improved a lot.

Even though I should be studying, we plan to go to the beach today for a bit, it is raining, of course, so we will be wet and cold when we get back, but I hope it will give me a second wind so I can dive back into my homework.

KEEPING IN TOUCH

Hello everyone! In this fast paced life we all lead, it is so nice to have a tool like this to keep in touch with all of our families and friends. I named this Blog Life Transitions because that is exactly what I am in! I have decided to pursue my life long dream of becoming a nurse and so at the ripe "young" age of 29, ha ha, I am back in school and hitting the books!

Another recent transition is, while my children are almost all grown, my sisters are having babies left and right. And Teri did it four at a time. What a miracle journey it has been. And by these pictures you can see how adorable they are. My other sister Sara is expecting her second baby boy in April, and we cant wait to meet him!
Since it is 3am, I better nock off for now.
